We joined the Vancouver Hack Space over the weekend and entered the space on Tues as fully fledged members.
So far so good. The place looks like we can do all kinds of work there, and the people were very friendly.
Our first task was to try creating a template of a pick guard from one of Scott's guitars. The goal was to see whether we could use the right tools and make use of the woodshop and actually accomplish something by the end of the evening.
And...
game on
Using the router to shape the wood to our template
The plywood is now ready for us to make a tortoise shell pick guard.
